Sustainable Environment and Earth
Biochar Plant-Story of juliflora prosopis in raj.
The introduction of Prosopis juliflora in Rajasthan was initially intended to combat drought and desertification. However, over time, it has become a significant ecological threat. The tree has displaced native grasses, altered soil chemistry, and pushed grazing animals off land that has been used for generations. Efforts to remove Prosopis juliflora from the Banni grasslands have proven challenging, requiring extensive resources and coordinated management. The Rajasthan government has launched a multi-phase plan to eradicate this invasive species by removing both trees and roots to prevent their regrowth, aiming to restore native biodiversity and enhance soil fertility. This initiative is expected to bring sustainable benefits to farmers and herders across the state, promoting ecological restoration and safeguarding biodiversity.
To help remove this hazardous plants/trees Chatrashanti Group are establishing a High Quality -Biochar Plant
RMC Plant using M Sand & Granite Waste /Dust Jalore Rajasthan Granite Industry in English The Jalore granite industry is a significant contributor to the district's economy, with a vast array of granite products ranging from slabs to tiles. The industry is driven by the availability of high-quality granite sourced from local quarries, which are then processed and exported to various markets. The district's granite industry has seen a resurgence post-recession, with new industrial units being established and plans for further expansion. The industry's growth is supported by the presence of RIICO, which has developed industrial areas and cooperatives to facilitate the processing and export of granite products. The Jalore granite industry is not only a source of revenue for the district but also a symbol of Rajasthan's mineral wealth and its contribution to the nation's construction and interior design sectors. This has also created environmental pollution affecting the local communities and hence Chatrashanti Industrial park is establishing an RMC plant using M Sand from granite waste and dust and to make blocks and pavers for local construction and to eliminate or reduce polluting brick kline industries.

Cold Storage and WarehouseChatrashanti Industrial Park-Cold Storage & Warehouse Jalore is an agricultural district with high production of Onion and garlic (high cold-storage demand), Cumin, mustard, wheat (warehouse rather than cold storage), Seasonal vegetables and fruits (short-term cold storage). Given this crop mix, the district’s needs fall into two categories: 1. Cold Storage Needs Temperature-controlled storage for onions, garlic, and vegetables. Small-to-mid capacity units for village-level aggregation. Pre-cooling and grading facilities to reduce post-harvest losses. Better connectivity to Sanchore and Bhinmal markets. 2. Warehouse Needs Dry storage for grains, spices, and seeds. Logistics hubs near Jalor city and major highways. Industrial sheds for processing (cleaning, sorting, packaging). Rental/lease options for traders and agri-businesses.
